Calvary SonRise is a Christ-centered fellowship in downtown Oshkosh. We teach the Bible verse by verse to equip the saints to be ambassadors of Christ.
Who we are
Our services include expository Bible teaching and worship together, in a welcoming place for families and individuals of all ages. Whether you are a new believer or have been walking with the Lord for years, we invite you to grow with us.
We believe the whole counsel of God’s truth, from Genesis to Revelation, should be taught, lived out and shared.

Your first Sunday
- ArrivePark in the police station lot across the street and come in through our main front doors. Street parking is available too.
- WorshipJoin us at 9:30 AM. Prayer & Communion meets at 8:30 AM in the Lounge.
- The WordVerse-by-verse Bible teaching, with a separate kids’ program during the 9:30 AM service.
- FellowshipStay for a meal every Sunday.

A meal every Sunday
After the morning service we share a meal in our fellowship hall. It’s a time to sit down, share a table and get to know one another.
- First Sunday of the monthPotluck. Bring a dish to pass if you’re able.
- Every other SundayThe church provides the meal. No need to bring anything.
Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been with us for years, there’s a place for you at the table.
Missions
As part of our calling to share the Gospel locally and around the world, Calvary SonRise supports and sends out teams through SonRise Mission Inc. That work includes building projects, children’s outreach and support for pastors and churches in underserved regions.
SonRise Mission has its own website, where you can read about current trips and give to the Mission Fund.
