A Capital Campaign for Calvary Chapel Roatán

The facilities used by Calvary Chapel Roatán in Sandy Bay, Roatán, Honduras are in critical need of roof replacement. These buildings serve as the heart of ongoing ministry in one of the island's most underserved communities — hosting worship, outreach, discipleship, and local church gatherings week after week.

Without intervention, deteriorating roofs threaten the safety of the congregation and the continuity of the ministry SonRise Mission has partnered with for years. This campaign exists to change that.

About the Need

During our most recent trip to Sandy Bay in March 2026, the state of the roofing was assessed firsthand. Weather damage, age, and ongoing wear have made replacement a priority — not a someday project. The estimated cost to complete the work is $40,000.
